Dr. Agung Budi Harto
After obtaining his bachelor degree from Geodetic Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1991, Dr. Agung Budi Harto continued his study to Chiba University in Japan. He studied Geoscience for his Master’s degree, and graduated in 1991. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in the field of Geography from the same university.
Since 1993, he has been involved in academic activities in the Department of Geodetic Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung. Aside from giving regular lectures mainly in remote sensing, cartography and GIS, he is also involved in many research activities. He is honored with numerous research grants, including from Asahi Glass Foundation, Directorate General of Higher Education and LPPM ITB. He has also been involved in numerous projects, e.g. digital mapping, remote sensing, spatial data infrastructure, photogrammetry and GIS projects.
